About this role:
We currently have an opening for an Office Manager. This position will report to the company President and play an integral part in the successful operations of the office.
Duties:
- Oversee and manage day-to-day office operations
- Greet office visitors, answer and direct phone calls, and field inquiries in company email
- Set up projects in time management system
- Responsible for Bookkeeping, invoicing, AP/AR
- Handle payroll processing and maintain employee records
- Responsible for onboarding requirements for new staff
- Maintain Employee Manual and Assist staff with human resources related questions
- Maintain Professional and Firm Licensing renewals
- Provide corporate reporting as requested by corporate officers and clients
- Work with staff to maintain the professional appearance of the office
- Assist with organizing corporate events
- Assist with maintaining corporate and project archives
- Maintain office supplies and equipment inventory
- Manage office budget and expenses
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
Required Qualifications and Skills:
- Associate or Bachelor's Degree; work experience will be considered in lieu of a degree
- Experience with bookkeeping
- Proven experience as an Office Manager or in a similar role
- Minimum of 2 years working in a professional office environment
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Basic understanding of human resources processes
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
Nice to Have:
- Experience using Deltek's Ajera project management and accounting software
- Experience in an architecture or design firm
