About the Group
The SKAI (SKAEL AI) group is in charge of developing and enhancing advanced technologies, such as artificial intelligence, machine learning and data mining, to advance SKAEL’s business and products. The group works on programs in multiple areas such as conversational AI, data wrangling, image processing, behavioral analytics, predictive analytics, business enablement, telemetrics and benchmark analytics. By leveraging advanced technologies and sophisticated algorithms, SKAI’s solutions empower SKAEL’s intelligent digital employees. SKAI comprises data scientists, AI architects, ML engineers and data engineers, and reports to the company’s Chief AI Officer.
Key Responsibilities
As an Automation Tester at SAKEL, you will have the chance to test cutting-edge algorithms across the Data Science domain. From computer vision, data clustering and classification models, then to neural networks. These AI/ML algorithms are meant to improve the way human employees interact with digital employees.
You will design test cases for Artificial Intelligence features. These test cases can be based on text extraction, computer vision and deep learning applications. Test cases will be functional and non-functional. The Automation Tester will be working cross-functionally with technical and non-technical team members.
As part of your role, you may need to:
- Design and implement machine learning test cases for SKAEL platforms
- Execute exploratory testing of AI applications
- Collaborate with other team members to design test sets for feature requirements for AI projects
- Demonstrate feasibility of new ideas using proof-of-concept test scripts, and then help integrate them into the AI test suite
- Communicate complex Data Science concepts and the results of test execution in a clear and effective manner to technical and non-technical audiences
- Work cross-functionally to share knowledge and discuss testing initiatives
Minimum Qualifications
- A bachelor's degree in engineering, science, or a related field from an accredited institution
- 3 years of experience with Python programming, as well as a strong grasp of object-oriented programming
- 2 years of relevant work experience with SaaS platforms, including practical experience with software performance testing, A/B testing and usability testing
- Intimate understanding of all testing levels, including unit testing, integration testing, system testing and acceptance testing
- Solid expertise in automated testing frameworks, including hands-on experience with frameworks such as Selenium, TestNG, Robot and Allure
- Deep familiarity with version control systems and Git
- Prepared to work in a team environment and effectively collaborate with other team members to deliver joint solutions
- Self starter, able to work independently under tight deadlines
