$35,360-$41,600 / year

We are looking for General Laborers (non-skilled and skilled) who are looking for day work to supplement their current income or to work around school or other things.

We need people for jobs all around that would be construction clean-up, loading / unloading trucks, assisting with deliveries, landscaping, housekeeping, and more! We need all the skills and experience and backgrounds! Job Summary :

General Laborers are responsible for various manual tasks such as digging trenches, unloading building materials, and preparing job sites.

They use hand tools like shovels or picks while operating machinery to help them with their work and assist crews with other necessary tasks.

You might also find yourself mowing lawns, or assisting with installation of doors and windows, or cleaning trucks, etc.

General Laborer is a broad term for either someone who is able to do a little bit of everything, and also broadly used for a broad range of entry level and skilled positions for our clients that call in for employees to assist them on a day-by-day basis.

Key Responsibilities include, but are not limited to :

Ability to meet the physical demands of the job you were sent to (such as; standing for long periods of time, lifting heavy loads of up to 40 pounds etc.)

Good hand-eye coordination

Familiarity with power tools and machinery is a plus for construction and demo jobs

Communication and teamwork skills

Commitment to safety rules

Clean up worksites from hazardous or obsolete material

Sweep, mop, take out garbage, and other cleaning / janitorial duties

Handle and transport materials (e.g. cement) and equipment (e.g. drills and grinders)

Use power tools and machinery (e.g. forklifts, lawn mowers, weed-eaters, etc) when needed

Follow instructions from supervisors to perform manual labor tasks (e.g. digging, stacking up goods)

Help with setting up and transferring temporary structures (e.g. scaffolding, event tents and tables, etc)

Attention to attendance and reliability

Have leadership qualities that make them candidates for leadership roles

Reliable transportation

Minimum Requirements : Entry Level Position

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Apprenticeship or specialization is an asset, but not necessary

Education :

High School Diploma or Equivalent is preferred, but not required
