Position Summary:
The Bartender/Server for SBV food and beverage serves beer, wine and craft cocktails to the guests. This position is responsible for set up, service, breakdown, and cleanup of the bar area. Competitive wages based on experience, plus cash tips.
Position Objectives:

Major Duties/Functions/Tasks:
- Sets up the bar area and other items according to pre-established standards.
- Receives and processes customer payments.
- Represents the company in a courteous, efficient, and friendly manner for all customer and employee interactions.
- Ensures that all necessary beverage items are filled and displayed in a clean and consistent manner.
- Greets customers courteously and interacts with customers in a manner to ensure guest satisfaction.
- Interact with customers and resolves customer complaints in a friendly and efficient manner.
- Serves customer beverage orders quickly, in proper portions, with a courteous demeanor.
- Stocks supplies or retail products; may inventory, order, or receive products as directed.
- Relays relevant comments from customers directly to supervisors.
- Consistently exhibits the ability to keep up with bar and POS flow.
- Handles and disposes trash and waste properly per standards.
- Keeps the bar clean and free of debris during service.
Food and Safety Responsibilities:
- Responsible for ensuring proper presentation, portioning, and self-hygiene following HACCP standards.
- Maintains sanitation and cleanliness of all equipment, supplies, and utensils in workstation.
- Thoroughly cleans work area before leaving to do other assignments.
- Cleans and sanitizes all equipment, utensils, dishes, and work areas.
- Cleans and sanitizes service and seating areas.
- Ensures proper functioning of freezers, refrigerators, and heating by routinely checking temperatures in that equipment.
Qualifications:

- Applicants must be 21 .
- Applicant must have current Food Handlers Permit and MAST license.
- Bartending experience is preferred but we are willing to train the right person.
- Ability to interact with diverse and high-volume customer base in a friendly and efficient manner.
- Ability to use the time clock system and record work hours properly for processing.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision and accomplish tasks without direct instruction.
- Ability to answer basic questions regarding coffee operations and direct other questions to appropriate parties.
