IT Technician

Position Details:

• Full Time
• Up to $24/hour BOE plus Medical, Dental, Vision Insurance, 401k, employee benefits
• Schedule generally applies to Tuesday – Saturday 8am-4pm. Schedule varies according to business demands and needs.

Description:

The hotel IT Technician is responsible for the install and upkeep of computer and network equipment, along with software and applications for the computer users at the hotel. The IT Technician is also responsible for ensuring proper security, anti-virus, and updates on all workstations. Such duties and responsibilities are directly related to the successful business operations of both the Hotel and the servicing of our staff and clients.

Responsibilities:

• Installing new workstations for staff. Configuring Windows, installing required software, working with the user to transfer data, and anything else required for the user to perform their job.
• Installing other hardware and cables throughout the property.
• Maintaining and updating hardware throughout the property and software on user workstations.
• Monitoring and responding to incoming IT requests from staff and partners, diagnosing and resolving technical hardware and software issues, and overall end-user support.
• Creating and updating team-internal and user-facing documentation as required.
• Creating user accounts for multiple software systems and working with the user to log into the systems successfully.
• Working with outside vendors for support via phone/email.
• Weekly, monthly, quarterly audits for all software, hardware, and user accounts.
• Manage inventory of all hardware and make requests for new hardware when needed.
• Any other task, written or verbal, that is assigned by management.
• Adhere to the policies and procedures as set forth for the handling of sensitive data.

Additional Details:

• Ability to work in a quiet environment with little to no interaction with others for extended periods of time.
• Ability to work over the phone with vendors and staff for extended periods of time.
• College Degree or Technical Certification Preferred combined with 1 year of IT experience or relative field experience.
