Job Title: CNC Mill Operator – 1st Shift
Job Description:
****No CNC Machining experience required. Some shop environment experience preferred. We will train the right candidate.****
Under direct supervision of the Department Supervisor, a CNC Mill Operator performs essential duties to ensure that parts are machined to the specifications detailed by the engineering prints/Process Engineer. Candidate may work closely with the Engineering Team and /or Inspection Team to trouble-shoot, evaluate, and perfect In-process Procedures as to ensure quality in the finished product. Candidate WILL NOT be responsible for Set-up/Programming. This position is in our Mill Department.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities (basic overview):
- Read blueprints
- In-process inspection
- Load and unload parts
- Select fixtures, part holding, and tooling needed to machine the parts
- Take direction from Department Supervisor and set-up/programming staff
- Position may require overtime
- Must be coachable if no experience
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Demonstrated ability to run a job with minimal assistance
- Basic math and computing
- Knowledge of general safety procedures in shop environment
- Ability to meet production requirements
- Ability to read blueprints
- Must be coachable if no experience
Education and Experience:
- High School Diploma or GED
- 1-2 years of experience in shop environment PREFERRED BUT NOT REQUIRED
- 1 years of experience operating a CNC machine PREFERRED BUT NOT REQUIRED. Your hourly rate will be based on experience level.
- Technical degree is a plus

Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour
