We are seeking a pre-MBA Corporate Strategy Associate to join Sketchy’s team. You will work closely with Sketchy’s executive leadership team and private equity sponsor to deliver insights that help leaders make strategic and operational decisions. You will have a 360° view of the business and the opportunity to work collaboratively across business functions. You will conduct in-depth research, analyze market trends, and develop strategic roadmaps to propel Sketchy's strategic direction. It is an incredibly unique opportunity to be part of a post-Series A startup that has already become a market leader in its category, achieved commercial success, and is yet small enough (in terms of headcount) where you can make a big difference. Expect to be very practical and hands-on! 

Sketchy is hiring remote employees in these select US states: California, Colorado, and Texas.

Responsibilities:

• Lead a disciplined, rigorous, and thorough strategic review and strategic planning process, properly understanding business performance and aligning on the appropriate path forward
• Evaluate business opportunities of new markets, products, and adjustments to existing core products to prioritize our investment opportunities
• Support due diligence processes and inorganic growth initiatives (e.g., M&A, joint ventures, strategic partnerships, etc.)
• Design and execute financial analyses to support the development of strategic insights
• Collaborate with business unit leaders to gain their input into Sketchy’s strategic direction and coordinate their efforts in alignment with Sketchy’s strategic plan 

What We’re Looking For:

• One to three years experience in a high-performance environment, such as management consulting, investment banking, equity research, PE, VC-backed startup, law firm, etc.
• Strong critical thinking, analytical, and quantitative skill set, with superior attention to detail and an ability to put structure around ambiguity
• Ability to create simple, powerful, and data-driven communications and effectively use creative storytelling to influence senior leaders and help their decision-making
• Exceptional organization and time management skills and a roll-up-your-sleeves mentality with excitement to research and learn what you don’t know
• Financial modeling expertise for market sizing and long-term planning
• Some knowledge of SaaS business models and SaaS funnel metrics
• Education technology knowledge is helpful but not required

Salary range

$110,000 - $130,000 annual
