Job Summary:

The Junior Controller position will support the Controller function in SLC and Seals Sales in Americas. In this position, you will be expected to coordinate the annual planning process. Some of your daily responsibilities will include working capital management, constant monitoring, and initiating actions for accounts receivables, accounts payables and inventories. You will provide support by implementing action plans to assure successful achievement of planned results. Your goal will be to ensure development of realistic plans focused on continuous improvement. You will have the opportunity to drive activities to achieve expected results. Together with Management for SKF Internal Control System (SICS), you will be responsible for ensuring that there are no deficiencies in all applicable controls.


Responsibilities Include but Not Limited to:

  • Analyze results and monitor variances, identify risks, opportunities and initiate proactive and corrective actions.

  • Perform calculation of standard cost according to SKF policies.

  • Capital management.

  • Monitor and initiate actions for accounts receivables, accounts payable, and inventories.

  • Prepare accurate forecasts that include in depth analyses and identify corrective actions.

  • Prepare investment request i.e provide the financial analysis and the project presentation.

  • Prepare Ad Hoc analysis and reports as required.

  • Perform month end accrual review and preparation of management reports.

  • Manage SKF Internal Control System (SICS) and ensuring there are no deficiencies in all applicable controls.

  • Operate effectively with the SKF USA Finance channels and Business Unit Controlling.

  • Be a co-driver to the business for Seals Sales and Manufacturing in Americas.

  • Sales and revenue controlling.

  • Support sales for customer communication regarding financial issues.

  • Various analysis on business profitability.


Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or similar degree is required.

  • Prior experience in a manufacturing background.

  • Minimum three years of experience in a similar role required.

  • Excellent command of PC skills and computerized accounting systems.

  • Power Bi and Excel skills.

  • Conversant with financial regulations and business practices.

  • Demonstrate communication skills in the English language via electronic communications and in-person.

  • Experience in financial planning, reporting analysis, business cases, and improvement initiatives.
