REP Center Team Lead
Job Description:
An outstanding opportunity is available for a Reliability Team Leader with genuine experience and success in the area of proactive maintenance.
Team Lead, REP Center will be responsible for team supervision, co-ordination of work and on the job coaching and support of technicians and engineers. Also, responsible to review all work completed by team prior to submission of report to customers and complying with SKF Quality standards at all times.
Responsibilities Include But Not Limited to:
- Provide profitable technical and proactive reliability maintenance services to strategic customers to achieve or exceed the agreed KPIs and document the cost savings delivered.
- Establish and maintain a working relationship with clients by providing exemplary service, establishing, and maintaining strong customer rapport and a professional corporate image.
- Periodic requirement to prepare and deliver technical presentations to customers and REP team documenting the program benefits.
- Assist in the recruitment and development of new staff as required.
- Manage all aspects of direct reports’ day-to-day duties including, but not limited to, performance management, training and development, counselling as and when necessary.
- Support and work with SKF Industry Specialist & Application Engineers to determine Root Cause of any failures and work toward improvements and correct actions.
- Support the implementation of Contracts which may include site visits, asset information documentation.
- Troubleshoot complex machinery problems.
Technical Requirements:
Qualifications/ Skills/ Experience Required:

Computer and Software Skills:
Experienced user of PC-based software: MS Office, Including MS Access and MS Excel specifically.
Requirements:
- Preferred - 4-year degree in mechanical engineering, including mechanical and electrical dynamics.
- Minimum - 2-year diploma in mechanical engineering, including mechanical and electrical dynamics, with 5 years industry experience.
- Certified vibration analyst level III, or equivalent.
- Previous Experience in steel, wind, refinery, paper, mechanical, electrical, manufacturing, or military background.
Language Skills/Requirements:
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
- Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
- Note - SKF business language is English.
Desired Skills/ Experience:
- Sound understanding and demonstrated experience working with other predictive maintenance technologies.
- Experience with electrical and mechanical infrared inspections, In-place dynamic balancing, airborne ultrasound inspections, machinery alignment, online and offline motor current analysis, ODS, NDT inspections, oil and lubrication analysis.
- You have a working knowledge of CMMS and planning & scheduling.
- Sound PC software knowledge.
- You have a strong desire and enjoy a career in equipment reliability.
- Ability to prevent and resolve conflict.
- Open to new ideas and input.
- Ability to function as a team leader, or a team member including proven leadership skills, as required by a given project.
- Flexible to changing priorities.
- Customer Service Attitude, Process-oriented.
