Skillforce Inc. is hiring for an Inventory Specialist in Petersburg, Virginia. Pay is $18 - $22 based on skillset and experience.
Inventory Specialist Responsibilities:
- Track incoming and outgoing products
- Track and research warranty and non-warranty repairs
- Load and unload deliveries
- Manage and maintain an inventory system
- Shipment inspection to account for items and identify damaged or incorrectly ordered inventory
- Maintain, clean, and organize the warehouse and other assigned areas
- Assist Inventory Manager in oversight of facility
- Operate forklift as needed
Inventory Specialist Qualifications:
- Experience with inventory programs/databases to track inventory
- Basic understanding of inventory control procedures
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Excellent attention to detail
- Strong organization skills
- Proven ability to follow through and complete tasks with minimum supervision
- Able to consistently lift 50lbs
- Forklift experience - certification preferred
Inventory Specialist Requirements:
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to pass a motor vehicle record check
- Must be able to lift 50lbs consistently
- Experience operating a forklift; current certification preferred
- Ability to pass a criminal background check
- Clean driving record and background
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
