SkillSetGroup is seeking an experienced CNC Programmer to work in the Santa, CA area. This position will be a hands-on Programmer in an Aerospace environment. The selected candidate must have experience with MasterCAM (or Esprit) programming for CNC lathe & Swiss maunfacturing. Experience must include in-depth knowledge of complex (multi-axis) lathe/swiss machining, setup & program building. This will be a 1st shift position and a DIRECT HIRE opportunity!

  • Job Title: CNC Lathe Programmer/Setup
  • Duration: Direct Hire
  • Pay: $32-40/hr
  • Hours:1st shift – 7AM-5PM, OT available on Saturdays.

Details

  • 3 - 5 years of experience as a CNC Lathe Programmer, set up/operating experience as well.
  • Must be very tech minded and comfortable doing programming & full setups for multi-axis lathes & Swiss machines.
  • This is a hands-on position, they will be doing setups and running parts.
  • Mill programming, is a plus.
  • They run - Nakamura Tome - dual spindle/live tooling, Ganesh Cyclone, Okuma, Akira Seiki and 7-axis Swiss
  • Aerospace manufacturing is a plus, metals are a must.
  • Their ERP system is fully digitally integrated.
