Skiltrek is looking for a POS Support Specialist role in Aurora, IL!
As an Application Specialist, you will be supporting store point-of-sale software solutions. The ideal candidate for this role will need to have experience supporting and testing point of sale systems and database maintenance. In this role, you will work with a project team comprised of IT and Operations colleagues to install hardware and software in stores. In addition to installations activities, you will work with internal customers to provide support for the current solutions and engage in requirements gathering for any new requests.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Must be able to perform duties with or without reasonable accommodation.
" Resolves incidents and requests in a timely manner; documents work and resolution steps within service management tool.
" Escalates incidents and requests to appropriate internal personnel or external vendors when further expertise is required.
" Participates in the overall Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) service management processes for software and hardware solutions.
" Assists or coordinates with national and international project delivery, including documentation, testing, training, and deployment for software or hardware solutions.
" Adheres to standards, policies, and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job.
" Collaborates with team members and communicates relevant information to direct leader.
" Upholds the security and confidentiality of documents and data within area of responsibility.
" Other duties as assigned.

" Familiarity with ServiceNow incident management.
" Experience with automated software testing a plus.
