Job Summary
We have a need in our Murfreesboro office for a clinic nurse. Hours for this position are 8 to 5 Monday through Thursday. Nurses provide support to providers with assisting in procedures, minor surgeries, telephone triage, Prior Authorizations, ordering and supplies in exam rooms and other duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Skills
Must be knowledgeable in all aspects of patient care in a doctor’s office setting. Candidates should have at least 1-3 years of experience in a doctor’s office or hospital. Good communication skills to patients and fellow employees. Ability to multi task with pleasant team oriented approach is ideal. License in the state of TN required for LPN positions. Ideal candidates will have Dermatology, Mohs, or Allergy experience.
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to tolerate intermittent physical activity including: sitting, walking, standing, stooping, carrying, seeing, speaking, hearing, bending, handling, typing, has good color The degree to which any of these is done depends on the techniques to be used.
- Must have sufficient freedom of total body movement in order to stand up, sit down at work station; be able to squat and or stoop in order to lift at least 50 Must possess the physical traits to remain sedentary for parts of the day performing clerical duties. Must be able to reach files/charts above shoulder height.
- Must have sufficient seeing ability to be able to type on a computer.
- Must have sufficient hearing ability to be able to answer phone calls and be able to respond to any audio alarms that go off unannounced within the
- Must have coordination of sight and body movements for various applications of procedures and have the ability to handle the tools and equipment of the profession.
- Must have sufficient arm and hand movement with dexterity of finger and wrist to type a speed of 40 words per minute and 98 % accuracy with a computer.
