Lead Registered Nurse

Location: Northern California (must be located nearby one and willing to commute to the following clinics for training: Folsom, Campbell, Burlingame, San Ramon, Mountain View and San Francisco)

Salary: $100,000 - $110,000k annually

Job Description

Lead RN acts as a direct medical business partner to the Regional Director to elevate medical efficacy and standards and drive key performance indicators. Lead RN evaluates and ensures all clinics within the region provide high-quality medical treatments and excellent experiences for all clients while maintaining medical safety and compliance. For non-medical matters, the Lead RN reports directly to the Regional Director while providing ongoing collaboration with all field leadership roles. For medical matters, the Lead RN directly reports to the Director of Clinical Development and the Director of Clinical Compliance & Safety.

Skin Laundry reserves the right to change the scope and/or responsibilities of any role with or without notice as business necessitates. Primary Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):

Quality Assurance

  • Approves all new Clinic Provider hires' training completion and independence in clinic
  • Reinforcement medical training for employees within the region to promote high standards of care, consistency, and utmost client experience
  • Clinic Provider observations and establish action plans
  • Clinic client flow observations (New Client and Returner)
  • Reinforce new protocol rollouts and follow up on implementation
  • Implement Weekly Newsletter highlighting key focuses
  • Performs monthly clinic walkthroughs for all clinics within the region
  • Monthly Medical Audit (Equipment & Safety) and touch base with CM(s) to discuss action plans and assessment
  • Maintains digital Clinic Training Folder with required documentation and records
  • Point of contact for urgent medical support, escalating to Medical Leadership following chain of command, as needed
  • Promote the highest quality of client care through constant collaboration with Medical Leadership team in protocol and process change

Business & Clinic Operations

  • Drives regional revenue and business goals through education, coaching, and reinforcement
  • Weekly alignments with Regional Team and Medical Team to ensure alignment in company initiatives and goals
  • Maintains an Add On/Fixer attachment rate of 6% within the region/clinics
  • Spearheads all medical rollouts within the region
  • Regional Team will reinforce all medical rollouts after medical announces the change
  • Medical Leadership team will coach and guide Lead RNs ahead of the roll out
  • Educates and coaches Clinic Providers on how to drive KPIs to meet company goals/standards
  • Audit Telemedicine Schedule monthly ensuring optimal new client experience and capacity
  • Acts as emergency coverage within the region when necessary, collaborating with Regional Director as needed
  • Implement and oversee Assignment RN Program within the region
  • All Assignment RNs will report into the Lead RN
  • Lead RN will oversee Assignment RN schedules and determine weekly coverage based on the needs within the region

Safety and Compliance

  • Ensures region-specific compliance standards are upheld
  • Maintain Medical Protocol Binder and/or Laser Safety Binder, keeping up-to-date copies of equipment safety manuals, certifications, and protocols
  • Weekly medical chart audit and follow up
  • Update chart error tracking sheet, as needed
  • Adverse reaction and medical complaint follow-up, intervention, and escalation
  • Point of contact for any medical concerns and ensures all medical complaints are resolved in a timely manner and documented
  • Reinforces Concern Resolution Process within region
  • Oversee and collaborate with Equipment Operations Manager on medical equipment management, troubleshooting, and communication
  • Keeps track of all medical equipment within the region and ensures Global Equipment Sheet is updated weekly
  • Responsible for investigating any breach in medical protocol by Clinic Providers and providing coaching where necessary
  • Collaborates with Regional Team in preparing for verbal or written counseling

New Medical Provider Hiring and Onboarding

  • Screens and performs technical interviews with new Clinic Provider candidates within the region, passing all qualified candidates to the Clinic Manager and/or Regional Director
  • Plans all new hire training
  • Complete new Clinic Provider onboarding training plan collaborating with Onboarding Team
  • Shares new Clinic Provider training plan with TA partner and Regional Team with Lab (Clinic) Manager on copy for visibility
  • Update New Talent Master Schedule as needed
  • Ensures SLU course completion before new Clinic Provider enters hands-on training sessions
  • Shares the new Clinic Provider training folder and communicates the completion of Clinic Provider onboarding with Medical Director with Senior Medical Leadership on copy for visibility
  • Executes new Clinic Provider hire training, as needed, following Skin Laundry onboarding guidelines

Requirements:

  • RN license and BLS certification always kept current and active
  • Able to work 40 hours per week with open availability, schedule to be made in collaboration with Regional Team based on business needs
  • Reliable transportation to support clinic visits
  • Adaptable and excited for change and growth
  • Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills in high-paced environment
