Position Overview:
The Facilities Manager will oversee all aspects of building functions and ensure the safety and functionality of all facilities. This role will be responsible for running routine safety inspections, corresponding with contractors, planning maintenance work, maintaining records, and supervising facilities staff. The Facilities Manager will proactively develop and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders ensuring that expected service levels are achieved in both new and existing clinics.
Location: This is a hybrid position. The ideal candidate will be located in the Greater Seattle area.
What You’ll Do:
Oversee a variety of facilities projects including but not limited to day-to-day repairs/maintenance, existing clinic renovations and refreshes, new clinic setup and support
Supervise a facilities team and manage their workflow, scheduling, and assignments
Create protocol and workflows for effective building-specific maintenance and safety procedures
Identify improvements in design, construction practices, or processes that can help eliminate building and system problems and improve efficiencies
Perform site surveys of existing facilities and equipment to capture and report current condition and develop repair and maintenance scopes of work
Respond to all facility inquiries and complaints, assess problems and take the necessary corrective action in a timely manner
Oversee regular maintenance for all facilities and equipment ensuring that the signage, lighting, heating, plumbing, air conditioning and ventilation systems are operating properly and minimize downtime of equipment and general conditions of company locations are maintained to standards
Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders, landlords and/or property managers, vendors and suppliers to resolve issues and provide project status updates
Set up regular service review meetings with facilities team members, property personnel and vendors to discuss performance and procedure improvements
Provide inputs for annual budget to the Director of Facilities by forecasting the upcoming needs and requirements for planned and deferred facilities projects
Ensure that facilities meet compliance standards and government regulations
Lead the set-up of and management of vendors and service providers for new clinics and existing clinics. These include but are not limited to utilities (gas, electricity), trash and recycling, cleaning services and general trades
Partner with the construction and design team and facilities team members with ordering, monitoring and controlling inventory and cost of supplies and equipment
Travel to clinics across multiple states up to 20%
Responsibilities occasionally may require an adjusted work schedule and evening/weekend hours in order to meet deadlines

What You’ll Bring:
High School Diploma or general equivalency diploma (GED) required; Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred
5 years of relevant work experience; experience in multi-location building maintenance/upkeep required
2 years of experience managing a team
Proven experience in project management and supervisory abilities required
Demonstrated ability to plan, direct, supervise, coordinate and evaluate the work of others with an eye toward efficiency and delivery of results
Ability to manage and balance multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines
Possess strong problem-solving skills
Excellent written and verbal communications; ability to collaborate across departments
Fluent in MS Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook) and ability to learn new technologies as needed
Ability to work independently and within a team with minimal supervision
Demonstrate a strong sense of urgency required to work in a fast-paced environment
This position involves exposure to confidential and sensitive information requiring considerable use of tact, diplomacy, discretion, independent decision making and judgment
Physical Requirements:
Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
Frequently walk, stand, use hands and fingers, handle or feel, reach with hands and arms, climb or balance, stoop, knee, crouch or crawl, talk and hear
Ability to lift or maneuver up to 25 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds
Ability to travel to clinics across multiple states (estimated 10-20% of time)
Compensation Range: $70,000 - $90,000* (plus bonus potential)
*Compensation will be determined based on a candidate's skills, experience, location, etc.
