Inside Sales Associate

Job Purpose

This is a customer relationship role and is the primary point of contact for many of Skorpios’ customer procurement and decision makers. This integral role will help Skorpios to meet the Sales targets. In particular, solicit test wafer services.  

Essential Responsibilities

• Supports Sales Team to help move things along for customers when the Sales Manager in unavailable.
• Responds to all emails and phone inquiries in a timely manner. 
• Works with the sales team to solicit customers for new purchase orders, quotation follow-up and growing overall company revenue.
• Primary contact window for all customer related issues (purchase order, change order, expedite, push out/cancellations, FA, RMA, credit/debit memo, stock rotation, ship debit, etc.) 
• Primary contact window for all customers’ inquiries (price quotation, L/T, stock check, product information, sample request) 
• Processes all the order (manual/EDI), RMA, credit/debit, stock rotation & ship & debit entries 
• Inside Sales Support across different divisions as a liaison between Sales, Finance, Quality, Marketing, & Shipping. 
• Manage order entry, lot starts, customer communication, and workflow with Operations to maximize revenue
• Tradeshow attendance and support

Work Environment

Work is primarily performed in a temperature-controlled, open cubicle setting. Frequent interruptions and conversational noise can be expected.

Physical Demands

• Constantly in a stationary position, often sitting and/or standing for prolonged periods (8 hours)
• Constantly viewing a computer monitor for prolonged periods (8 hours)

Required Education and Experience

5 years work experience in semiconductor, electronics, or technology interfacing directly with customers

Proven ability to work under stress 

Excellent communication/negotiating/closing skills with customers and internal 

Aggressive, great attitude, strong organizational skills and a self-starter 

Ability to network and leverage a virtual team of resources 

Desire to work in a competitive environment

Personality and temperament for frequent phone or video conference discussions with customers as well as internal team members to help Skorpios succeed. 

Ability to work with sales team to solicit customers for new purchase orders, quotation follow-up and growing overall company revenue.

Intermediate Excel

Preferred Education and Experience

BS or BA degree 

Experience with semiconductor foundry or similar industry in an inside sales role

Work Authorization/Security Clearance Requirements

Must meet ITAR citizenship requirements
