Server Job description

Be part of the team bringing the adventures and stories from the mind of George R.R, Martin, to our Travelers on Sky Railway.

Do you have a passion for hospitality? Would excursions through the high deserts of New Mexico be a place you would like to showcase your skills as a server/ hospitality expert? With historical train cars that host live music, drinks, snacks and themed experiences that showcase the special truths of this city, landscape and its unlocked secrets.

Job Title: Server

Server Job Purpose:

Providing train travelers, a unique guest experience on Santa Fes newest adventure train. From the moment they take their seats and place their first drink order. The server plays an important role in providing a unique and wonderous experience for every passenger.

Server Job Duties:

• Providing exemplary guest service when problems arise and finding solutions for those problems. Giving our travelers top notch service that Sky railway is known for
• High volume and fast paced service at an exemplary level
• Passion and knowledge of all Sky Railway events and properties
• As part of an entertainment company, you may find yourself a part of the show.
• Mixing and delivering beverages using an extensive range of ingredients including liquor, bitters, soda, water, sugar, and fruits
• Taking beverage orders from customers and serving drinks as requested, paying extreme attention to detail
• Satisfying patron requests in a timely manner
• Assessing customer preferences and making drink recommendations
• Collecting payment for drinks served and providing change as needed
• Checking identification to verify legal age requirements for all customers
• Cleaning the isles, tables, chairs, and work area to maintain a sanitary environment
• Complying with all food and beverage regulations
• Limiting customer problems by restricting alcohol intake and attempting to curtail inappropriate behavior
• Implementing of all Sky Railways safety protocols

Server Skills and Qualifications:

Training or experience with serving, strong communication skills, positive attitude, personable demeanor, multitasking, attention to detail, organization, ability to stand for long periods, strong observational skills, conflict resolution, computer literacy. Bilingual is a plus.
