We are searching for a self-motivated, hard-working PPC marketing specialist that can join our team and hit the ground running on day one. Responsibilities:
- Write ad copy for our PPC Campaigns
- Monitor and analyze keywords to identify performance improvements and negative keyword opportunities
- Constantly look for ways to improve Campaign Structure and Quality Scores
- Monitor competitors and our site to ensure content and promotions are up to date
- Write micro content for websites (e.g., tag lines and bullet points about the products we highlight)
- Manage offshore content writers for articles and long form copy
- Assist with optimization and management of PPC channels, including Adwords and Bing
- Help create, categorize and refine keyword lists, ad copy and bidding strategies to create a comprehensive campaign that drives qualified visitors to our sites
- Conduct competitive analysis to identify new ad copy and on site copy strategies
- Analyze data to extract insights and transform those insights into actionable changes that will accelerate performance
- Ability to constantly test and iterate content to get optimal performance
- Monitor and analyze channel performance based on ROI, CPA, and other channel conversion metrics
- Routinely conduct and update competitive analyses in the verticals we participate in
- Routinely suggest tests to optimize and improve site performance
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Cross-functional engagement with other team members to develop strategy and measure results.
- Work closely with tech team to identify tasks, processes, and other business needs that can be automated or streamlined.
- Communicate regularly on status, timeline, budget, deliverables, performance reporting.
Must Have Qualifications:
- 1-3 years of PPC experience in Google and Bing, including understanding of how their systems work
- Understand concepts like Campaign Structure, Negative Keywords and Quality Scores
- A portfolio of work that shows content writing experience
- Possess strong quantitative and creative-thinking skills; critical-thinking and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and teamwork
- Highly organized, motivated and a self-starter that strives in a startup environment (i.e., you know what to do without guidance or instruction)
- High attention to detail, a strong sense of work ownership and consistently meets deadlines
Nice-to-Have Qualifications:
- Experience with programmatic bidding.
- Experience managing large monthly spend ($100K+ per month) preferred.
- Strong proficiency in excel.
- Google Ads Certification is a plus.
