Skydance Animation is hiring a Manager of Facilities to support daily studio operations as well as upcoming relocations. They will oversee campus needs and on-site facilities team members. This is currently a project-hire through April 2024, with potential for longer term opportunity, reporting to the VP, Facilities Operations.
Responsibilities
- Oversee Office Operations and running the day-to-day, including management of vendors such as building management, janitorial, HVAC, pantry, furniture, and other office services
- Collaborate with corporate operations team on the execution of upcoming office downsizing and corporate headquarters relocation projects
- Manage space planning and employee and department moves while keeping accurate and updated floor plans and seating charts
- Partner closely with HR and IT for onboarding and offboarding employees including new hire office space, desk set up, parking, and building access
- Manage company health and safety programs, including oversight of fire and life safety programs, OSHA compliance, and all related training
- Coordinate all furniture and office supply purchasing, including processing all production facility and supply requests
- Oversee reception desk and other operations staff
- Manage facilities budget and vendor invoice processing
- Manage facility work and meeting spaces, including room booking, ongoing maintenance, and setup for SDA employees and occasionally for employees from Skydance family of companies
- Provide company cultural event and meeting support, including participating in planning of events and celebrations, ordering of supplies, and setting up
- Create a positive atmosphere and culture of professionalism and support
Requirements
- 5-7 years of office management and/or facilities experience
- Previous move management experience preferred
- Must have previous experience managing a team
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills while interfacing with team, management, external contacts
- Proficiency in Adobe Acrobat, Google Docs, Sheets, Gmail, Gdrive, MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint
The salary range for this position in Los Angeles is $100,000 – $110,000. The salary offered may vary based on the candidate’s location, qualifications, experience and relevant expertise, among other factors. The range indicated is for base salary only and does not reflect the total compensation package, including bonus, benefits, etc.
