What are the responsibilities and job description for the SVP, Physical Production - Television position at Skydance?
Skydance Television is seeking an experienced Senior Vice President, Physical Production to work with our team in overseeing day-to-day operations of Skydance’ s scripted television series.
We’re looking for a collaborative and creative problem-solver, who works effectively with both creative and production types. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with a variety of different types of shows, including one-hour dramas and half-hour comedies, and in a variety of budget ranges. Skilled in production efficiency; achieving the highest production values within the constraints of any budget. Producing experience is a plus.
\n- Strong budgeting and scheduling skills.
- 15 years experience in scripted television production, with extensive experience at the leadership level overseeing shows and managing a team
- Experience as both a Producer and a network Production Executive highly preferred
- International production experience preferred
- Great interpersonal abilities; works effectively and interchangeably with creative and production personnel
- Thrive under pressure
- Extensive knowledge of producers, locations, tax credits, and labor regulations.
The salary range for this position in Los Angeles is $300,000 – $350,000. The salary offered may vary based on the candidate’s location, qualifications, experience and relevant expertise, among other factors. The range indicated is for base salary only and does not reflect the total compensation package, including bonus, benefits, etc.
