SNR GovernmentIT Services LLC (SNR GovIT) is SkyePoint's division focused on serving our nation's critical information technology and engineering mission needs in support of the Department of Defense. SNR GovIT holds three contract vehicles offering comprehensive information technology services including technical and management expertise supporting applications, software, hardware, infrastructure, and systems.
This is a contingent position based upon contract win.
SkyePoint Decisions is seeking a Telecommunications Network Engineer for a DLA Network Operations contract.
This is a fully remote position that supports an Eastern time zone work schedule. This position is contingent on contract win.
Responsibilities:
- Develops designs and plans for installation and maintenance of telecommunications systems from project inception to conclusion.
- Analyzes the problem and the characteristics of the information to be transported.
- Defines the problem and develops system requirements and network specifications.
- Closely coordinates with other information system professionals to ensure proper implementation of network services. In conjunction with functional users, develops alternative solutions and backup
plans.
Required Qualifications:
- A minimum of 2 years of IT experience.
- Experience in telecommunications network design and management.
- Must demonstrate the ability to work independently, or under only general direction, on requirements that are moderately complex to analyze, plan, program, and implement.
- Experience in analysis and design of voice networks, LAN data networks, wireless networks, and/or network management systems to support voice and data services.
- Active SECRET or higher security clearance
- Current IAT Level II certification:
- CNA-Security
- CySA **
- GICSP
- GSEC
- Security CE
- CND
- SSCP
- Must have an active Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) or other relevant Telecommunication Engineer Cisco certification.
- U.S. Citizenship is required
