What are important things that YOU need to know about this role?

  • This is a fully remote opportunity, however there may be rare times that the successful candidate will be expected to train clients on site at our headquarters in Menomonee Falls, WI. We will accommodate travel expenses for this and at this time, it is on an as needed basis.
  • Travel may also be required to a client's headquarters on rare occasion.

What will YOU be doing for us? Assess training needs for internal employees and external users of our system. Act as trainer for the purposes of on-boarding, acclimation to specific role based processes, and knowledge transfer to all users of the system on capabilities, upgrades, and enhancements. Participate in the development of curriculum and associated training materials for both the system training as well as other defined needs within the company.

What will YOU be working on?

  • Develop and utilize methods to collaborate with internal and external resources as necessary to assess objectives, constraints, and desired outcomes of training programs.
  • Participate in the design of all training curriculum for the organization focused on providing the instruction necessary to fully understand company specific information, specific role capabilities, and system uses pertinent to the department and/or role.
  • Design learning objectives, instructional strategies, exercises, assessment instruments, and other pieces of the training design framework to meet the pre-defined learning needs.
  • Develop training materials that align with adult learning principles and learning styles.
  • Facilitate meetings as necessary to gain approval from stakeholders on the design strategy and training developed.
  • Develop and utilize methods to gain evaluations and feedback from training participants and management.
  • Conduct training sessions for new and current employees as required ensuring appropriate knowledge transfer. Facilitate training sessions for client training staff to provide them with structured materials for training their staff on system capabilities.
  • Develop and maintain methods for understanding upcoming process and/or system changes that affect training objectives and/or materials.
  • Utilize feedback to continually evaluate training design and material development for improvements.
  • Maintain a variety of training documents and records for the purpose of demonstrating training efforts to clients as needed.
  • Maintain up to date knowledge on appropriate adult learning techniques and learning design methods.
  • Work effectively and collaboratively with peers and other internal resources in diagnosing and resolving training issues.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Act as representative for Training in client related matters such as audits, RFP's, and RFI's.
  • Participate in the development and implementation of various projects designed to increase the efficiency and improve the results within the team.

What qualifications do YOU need to have to be GOOD candidate?

  • Required Level of Education, Licenses, and/or Certificates
    • Associates degree or equivalent experience
  • Required Level of Experience
    • 3 years of experience in designing and delivery training to adult learners
  • Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
    • Knowledge of Web based tools in delivering virtual training (Articulate Storyline III & Camtasia)
    • Intermediate knowledge of general computer software. (MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
    • Strong knowledge of common adult learning techniques
    • Strong knowledge of training design and delivery techniques
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • Ability to present complex material well to a group
    • Ability to work well with a diverse group of individuals
    • Ability to work well in a complex environment with changing priorities

What qualifications do YOU need to have to be a GREAT candidate?

  • Preferred Level of Education, License, and/or Certificates
    • Bachelor's degree in Education, Instructional Design, or other related field
  • Preferred Level of Experience
    • Previous experience in software training or related field
