About the Role: We are looking for someone tactical with a strategic vision.

Skylight is seeking a seasoned Director of Amazon, Sales & Marketing with a specialized focus on Amazon to spearhead our online sales and marketing strategies on the platform. This pivotal role, based either in Seattle, near Amazon's HQ, or in Los Angeles, will be instrumental in maximizing Skylight's presence and sales on Amazon, leveraging both 3P (Seller Central) and 1P (Vendor Central) capabilities. The ideal candidate will replace our current Amazon agency, assuming full responsibility for our Amazon sales channel's strategic planning, execution, and optimization.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement comprehensive e-commerce strategies for Amazon, focusing on maximizing sales, market share, and brand visibility.

Manage all aspects of Skylight's Amazon presence, including product listings, inventory management, marketing, promotions, and customer service.

Deep dive into Amazon 3P (Seller Central) operations, ensuring a seamless and effective sales process; experience with 1P (Vendor Central) is also highly desirable.

Analyze performance data to inform strategic decisions, optimize listings, and drive growth.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align Amazon strategies with overall business goals.

Stay abreast of Amazon's policies, technologies, and best practices to maintain competitive advantage.

Directly replace and exceed the functions previously managed by our Agency, ensuring a smooth transition and immediate impact on performance.

Establish and monitor KPIs to evaluate performance and identify areas for improvement.

Manage all Amazon US, Canada, EMEA and AUS accounts for pricing and promotion submissions.

Requirements

Required Skills and Experience:

7 years of experience working with Amazon.

Proven track record of success in managing and growing an Amazon sales channel, with significant experience in both 3P (Seller Central) and 1P (Vendor Central) platforms.

Strategic thinker with the ability to translate insights into actionable growth strategies.

Strong analytical skills, with a data-driven approach to decision-making.

Excellent communication and leadership abilities, capable of working effectively with internal teams and external partners.

Deep understanding of e-commerce, digital marketing, and Amazon-specific sales strategies.

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.

Extensive experience in the consumer technology space or related industries.

Demonstrated ability to manage large-scale e-commerce operations and budgets.

Experience with Amazon in US, Canada, EMEA, EU and AUS is preferred.

The base salary range for this position is USD $130,000 - $160,000 bonus benefits.
