Position Summary: The Construction Scheduler will work within the operations San Francisco Bay Area team and report to the General Superintendent. They will work closely with Project Managers and Project Superintendents to input schedule status updates, incorporate logic changes and delays, and analyze project schedule progress. This position will be fully on-site.
Essential Responsibilities:
1. Collect and input schedule status update information into the record project schedule.
2. Attend project schedule progress meetings as needed.
3. Identify changes to the project schedule.
4. Notify teams of impacts to critical path activities and/or schedule logic.
5. Ensure technical schedule integrity is maintained.
6. Produce and distribute weekly and monthly schedules, forecasts, and reports.
7. Manage Outlook distribution lists and standard form emails for schedule distribution.
8. Maintain project schedule archives and documentation.
9. Train others in the use of Microsoft Projects.
Qualifications
- Responsible for procurement and construction planning, scheduling, logistics and cost control.
- Prepare monthly schedule updates and various reports as necessary.
- Prepare four-week look ahead schedules.
- Review overall project schedule for critical path drivers and potential schedule delays to report to project management staff.
- Perform time impact analysis for delays and project impacts.
- Analyze change orders and insert into project schedule to determine any potential schedule impacts caused by the changes.
- Update the project schedule with RFI’s and Change Orders.
- Experience with other project management software such as Bluebeam and Microsoft Office 365.
- Walk construction site with project management to review scope changes impacting the schedule.
Professional Experience and Education
- Training in construction document reading, design specifications.
- Experience in organizing technical data in a neat and accurate method.
- Highly developed visual observation and interpretation skills.
- Ability to work well and maintain a cooperative attitude through high-pressure situations.
- Excellent time-management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work while frequently interrupted by phone calls and questions on work in progress.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills with an ability to develop strong interpersonal relationships.
- Ability to work closely with variety of trade and craft people in a fieldwork situation. Patience and professionalism are essential.
- Must be a strong team player with the ability to collaborate with various personnel within and across departments and at all levels of leadership.
- Work schedule must be flexible to allow extended hours or off-shift work to accommodate changing construction schedule and sequences
- A minimum of four (4) years construction project scheduling experience with Microsoft Projects, Primavera software is a plus but not required.
- Specific experience in Tenant Improvement projects is preferred.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or equivalent degree/certification and/or equivalent related work experience in data management nice to have.

The actual salary offer will be carefully considered based on a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. The range is subject to change and may be modified in the future.
Please note that the full base pay range for incumbent employees in this position can be expected to fall between $101,500 and $137,300 a year. New hires joining the company tend to be paid within the starting base pay range noted above, with opportunities to increase pay overtime based on development of additional skills, competencies, and company-specific knowledge.
