Site Estimator/Project Manager

General Engineering Contractor seeks a Site Estimator/Project Manager for both Public and Private works - earthwork, demolition, shoring and street improvements. Candidate must have knowledge and experience in site construction, grading, paving and utilities.

General Requirements:

-Must be 18 years of age or older

-Eligible for work in the US with 2 valid forms of identification

Job Description:

Perform quantity takeoffs/AutoCad, AGTEK, model preparation & GPS a MUST

Solicit and review sub-contractor and supplier quotes

Read and interpret plans, specifications and other documentation to prepare bids and quotes

Participates in project review meetings, when required

Consults with clients, vendors, or other individuals to discuss and formulate estimates

Prepare project schedule, project budget, and bid submittals

Manage day to day activity on projects

Communicate with Field Foreman and Construction Coordinator to ensure proper staffing of projects

Review all change orders, contracts and other job-related correspondence

Field Experience a plus

Job Requirements:

-AutoCad/AGTEK experience - 5 years minimum

-Must be physically able to sit at a desk and work at a computer for extended periods of time

-Must be punctual and reliable

-Strong computer skills with advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Bluebeam

-Ability to multi-task and work under pressure and be organized

-Professional, polished appearance with positive attitude

Qualifications:

-5 years min experience in civil earthwork (horizontal construction)

-AutoCad/AGTEK experience - 5 years minimum

-Prepare/Review Change Orders

-Must be able to review proposals, contracts and subcontracts

-Must have good verbal and writing skills

-Some basic accounting skills required

Compensation is negotiable depending on experience.

Pay: $95,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
