Description
The Maintenance Position will assist with construction projects and general repairs. They will be responsible for performing basic repairs to equipment and building systems. Professionalism and experience are required for the job as Sky Park focuses on providing the best quality possible. Sky Park will provide all the equipment necessary for any job. The Maintenance Position will work within the Operations Department and will report to the Executive of Operations.
This is a Seasonal, Part-Time position starting at 20 hours per week. Availability on weekends and holidays is required.
Responsibilities:
- Perform basic repairs.
- Install appliances and equipment.
- Conduct general maintenance inspections to identify problems.
- Inspect and troubleshoot equipment and systems.
- Check functionality of safety systems.
- Collaborate with workers and other professionals during renovations.
- Work on ladders or scaffold.
- Ability to learn how to operate heavy equipment.
- Clean up all equipment used and return to the proper area.
- Have knowledge of occupational hazard safety rules.
- Perform tasks timely but with quality.
- Any other duties assigned.
Qualifications
Qualifications:
- Experience with handling power tools preferred.
- Prior construction experience preferred.
- Must be able to work alone and be a self-starter.
- Must be thorough on every job.
- Must have the ability to handle physical activities.
- Must be able to be on your feet for most of your shift.
- Comfortable working on ladders or scaffolding.
- Strong communication skills.
- Must be able to work both inside and outside.
- Must be able to lift 90lbs or more.
