Full Job Description
We are seeking a strong Software Engineer who is motivated, result oriented and dedicated with strong understanding in cloud technologies. This team is focused on building technology solutions that support the efficiency of engineers across the entire company. You can provide new ideas and a fresh approach while being responsible for the improvement of a highly scalable and distributed platform.
Responsibilities:
- Improvement of tooling, delivery and infrastructure platform for hosting microservices applications
- Further integrate Backstage into the engineering environment
- Close work with DevOps and SRE team for solving platform issues
- Further build out and improve the CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure
Requirements:
- Strong experience building software in a cloud based environment
- Cloud - general Azure PaaS and SaaS understanding
- K8s
- As they are using Backstage heavily, they are looking for an engineer with Node/Typescript
- Familiarity with agile/ scrum
- Willingness to pair program on a daily basis
- Desire and ability for quick learning of new tools and technologies
