Position Summary:
As a member of the stock room, you will perform the physical and administrative tasks involved in the shipping, receiving, storing and distributing of materials, parts, supplies and equipment.
* Receive, sort, deliver, and pick up, stamp and process mail and packages.
* Performs the physical and administrative tasks involved in the shipping, receiving, storing and distributing of materials, parts, supplies and equipment.
* Unpacks and checks goods received against purchase orders or invoices, maintains records of received goods and rejects unsatisfactory items.
* Lifts heavy items (up to 50 lbs.) and may operate a forklift.
* Prepares and maintains records of merchandise shipped.
* Posts weights and shipping charges and prepares goods for final shipment.
* Examines, stocks, counts and distributes materials in inventory and on manufacturing lines.
* May prepare kitting packages for assembly production.
* Applies acquired job skills and company policies and procedures to complete assigned tasks.
* Works on assignments that are semi-routine in nature but recognizes the need for occasional deviation from accepted practice.
* Normally follows established procedures on routine work; requires instructions only on new assignments.
High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
* Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
* Must be willing to work overtime and on weekends as needed
* Proficient with MS Office software
* Experience with cycle counting/kitting/order fulfillment
* Experience with shipping software and SAP inventory control systems preferred.
* Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. unassisted
* A valid driver's license
The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is currently USD$38,700 -$66,500per year. Starting base pay will depend on relevant experience and skills, training and education, business needs, market demands, the ultimate job duties and requirements, and work location. Skyworks has different base pay ranges for different work locations in the U.S. include access to healthcare benefits (including a premium-free medical plan option), a 401(k) plan and company match, an employee stock purchase plan, paid time off (including vacation, sick/wellness, parental leave), among others. Employees are eligible to participate in an incentive plan, and certain roles are also eligible for additional awards, including recognition and stock. These incentives and awards are based on individual and/or company performance.
