Our data governance practice assists customers on their journey to leverage and transform their data into enterprise assets. Our objective is to optimize our client’s ability to access and use trusted data in a compliant, ethical, and meaningful way by co-creating solutions which align people, processes, policies, and technology. You will be able to apply your knowledge and assist clients in developing their Data Governance programs by enabling their organizations to implement data governance processes, data catalogs, data lineage and data quality services.
What You’ll Do
- Assist Slalom account teams prepare and present Slalom Data Governance capabilities and services to perspective clients.
- Collaborate with peers and Slalom account teams to develop and present client proposals and statements of work for the delivery of data governance services.
- Collaborate with Slalom peers to help our clients develop their data governance organizations and drive data accessibility and usability through leading data governance technologies
- Prepare, publish, and present data governance materials within Slalom to increase awareness and literacy on developing data governance capabilities.
- Enhance Slalom’s data governance leading practices and thought leadership by contributing to existing content (e.g., data policies and standards, data quality management, etc.)
- Travel requirements: <50%
What You’ll Bring
- Collaborative solutioning approach to develop, sell and/or implement data governance services based on a client’s needs and priorities
- Direct experience in creating and/or developing a data governance work group focused on Data Catalogs, Data Quality, Data Lineage and/or Policies (e.g., Alation, Axon/Informatica, Collibra)
- Experience with managing and mitigating data quality issues (e.g., profile, standardize, cleanse, and enrich)
- Experience with establishing and maintaining data governance operating processes and rhythms, and in developing data steward roles and responsibilities
- Experience with diagnosing data related issues using SQL, performing root cause analysis, and implementing recommended solutions
- Familiarity with data governance operating models
