Slash Studios, a creative studios agency in Los Angeles catering to digital talent is seeking an organized, rockstar project manager to take on the day to day management of our indie e-comm ventures and Talent special projects. We’re looking for a collaborative problem solver and leader that enjoys the challenge of creating solutions to complex issues. As project manager, you’ll need to be well versed in project management styles, methodologies, and processes. And experienced in Brand Strategy and Growth. Role will liaison with Talent, Production, Marketing, Finance, and different departments to execute and manage e-commerce projects. This role is based at our Headquarters in West Hollywood, CA.

Slash Studios & MGMT is a full-service talent management and production company for multi-hyphenated artists located in Los Angeles, CA. As we continue to expand our company, we are in need of a project manager to oversee established & Slash-incubated brands such as indie cosmetics company Dragun Beauty, indie apparel ventures Last Gen, and indie apparel brand Twisted Saints. Our project manager will be responsible for working with the established teams in each venture to oversee timelines, ensure brand is hitting key benchmarks, and will work closely with our talent and their managers to build and maintain brand revenue.
The Project Manager/Producer will have the following responsibilities:
- Manage all brands’ collection drops from A-Z while simultaneously supervising the big-picture view of the brand and developing processes of how all our projects are managed. This includes how the current workload, collectively and individually, impacts the brands’ and their budgets, resources, risk factors, key learnings, schedules, responsiveness, customer satisfaction, etc.
- Assess, monitor, document and communicate on project scope and status, risks and key learnings to project stakeholders
- Responsible for the creation and distribution of complete project plans, schedules, and related documentation
- Work closely with factories and brand partners to ensure that design notes are being accurately implemented throughout the sample process
- Work closely with factories and brand partners to identify sample and production timelines
- Design and analyze project KPIs in line with PMO strategy in order to drive continuous improvement
- Capture and document project-related business, functional, and creative information during the project lifecycle
- Assist with technical feasibility, implementation approach, deployment strategies and quality assurance efforts
- Monitor customer service and satisfaction
- Manage project budgets and reports on burn rates and financial risks
- Develop and write all necessary communications (proposals, contracts, schedules, day-to-day emails, change orders, customer service emails, etc.) on behalf of Talent and Management Team
- Manage launch timelines and ensure all parties are working cohesively and timely to succeed in collection drops, brand launches, and special projects
- Negotiate with freelance employees and embrace and resolve any freelance or team-related conflicts
- Help and provide support to talent in select new business development efforts, candidate should be willing to help vet new prospects and provide support to team, as needed, in this area).
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- BA in Fashion, Business, Marketing or Communications (or comparable degree/experience)
- 3 years experience in E-Commerce (retail is a plus) project management role
- Experience with managing branding, fulfillment, and digital projects a plus
- Extraordinarily organized and detail-oriented. Loves spreadsheets, list-making, and calendar management
- Proficient in MS Office, Google Suite, ASANA (or other project management software); overall should be tech savvy (and a quick learner)
- Understanding and familiarity with key e-commerce trends, usability concepts, and web best practices
- Strong multitasker and self-motivated
- Punctual and reliable
- Strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
- Expertise and passion in people, budget and schedule management
- Graceful under pressure, yet comfortable in the “assertive” role (in other words, prefers to embrace and resolve conflict and comfortable having tough conversations)
Compensation:
Monthly retainer to start, dependent on experience, with goal to bring on full time within 6 months
