What are the responsibilities and job description for the Preconstruction Estimator position at Sletten Companies?
We are looking for an Estimator to work with the Preconstruction Division to develop conceptual and final estimates, budgeting, and value engineering for commercial and public projects.
TYPICAL DUTIES:
- Review project documents for completeness and ambiguities.
- Generate take-offs and spreadsheets per company standards.
- Attend pre-bid and preconstruction meetings.
- Lead conceptual through final estimates.
- Assist with design and constructability reviews.
EXPERIENCE, SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS PREFERRED:
- Four-year engineering or construction degree
- Five (5) years professional experience working as an estimator
- Experience in pre-design, design, and construction phases of Design-Build and/or CMAR projects
ADDITIONAL CONSIDERATIONS:
- Experience with estimating software
- AutoCAD, Revit or Navisworks experience
- Written and oral communication skills
- P6 scheduling skills

Salary : $88,400 - $112,000
