Slick Auto Styles is located at 840 Midpoint Dr. in O’Fallon, MO providing in-house and mobile services to retail clients and dealerships.
Slick Auto Styles is searching for 1-2 hard-working, reliable detailers with a positive attitude and basic customer service skills to help take our business to the next level.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Cleaning vehicle interiors and exteriors in compliance with company standards and client requests.
- Operating specialty equipment such as machine polishers, vacuums, water extractors, steamers, air compressor, power washer, generator, etc.
- Installing dealer license plate covers, decals, and plastic floor mats.
Job Requirements
- 21 years of age
- Fully functioning cell phone
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Excellent customer service and communication skills. (Our clients are our lifeline)
- Ability to withstand working in all seasons of the year.
- Ability to lift 50-100lbs
- Ability to stand on your feet and crouch for long periods of time.
- Good time management skills
- Ability to multitask under pressure
- Ability to perform in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work with others as a team.
- Ability to follow directions
- General knowledge of safety precautions
- Outgoing personality
- A “can-do” positive attitude
- Valid drivers license
- Clean driving record
- Ability to drive a manual transmission vehicle.
- Pass a drug test.
Education and Experience
- A high school diploma is required.
- No experience is necessary
Working Environment
The majority of the work is performed inside the shop, cooled with fans in the summer, and heated during the winter. We like to keep a fun and motivating work environment while producing high-level results.
- Time will be spent inside and outside the vehicles.
- Must be willing to work outside, no matter the weather conditions.
- Will be happy working on a team of detail-oriented perfectionists passionate about what they do.
Hours and Pay
Pay: Part-Time/Full-Time
Rate: $12/hr - $15/hr. At Slick Auto Styles detailing a vehicle is a team effort. Some vehicles can be overwhelming on your own, but we have learned the job can be more manageable when the workload is split.
Standard working hours are 8am - 4:30pm depending on the days' workload.
There will always be opportunities for growth as the business grows and offers new services.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: From $12.00 per hour
