Director Patient Access Ambulatory

Job Description We are hiring a Director of Patient Access for our Ambulatory medical group. This position will oversee all functions under patient access for SLPG and lead the centralization and/or standardization of SLPG front end processes. Oversee the centralized prior authorization department, SLPG float pool, and pre-registration and registration functions. Lead operational projects for the entity including open and direct scheduling, centralized scheduling, and other projects to improve the patient experience and improve access. Evaluate technology solutions to improve efficiencies within patient access. Strong organizational and leadership qualities are a must. Must be efficient with Excel and data tracking software.
