As a Tax Preparer you will primarily be responsible for preparing complete and accurate tax returns while delivering outstanding client service. Secondary responsibilities will be office duties such as maintaining e-mails, E-marketing through social media, corresponding and updating clients.
Primary Responsibilities
· Conduct tax interviews.
· Prepare or assist in preparing simple to complex tax returns for individuals or small businesses.
· Deliver outstanding customer service.
· Uncover potential deductions and credits.
· Ensuring client confidentiality and privacy.
· Increasing retention of all clients.
· Offering additional products and services.
· Office duties.
Must have Qualifications
· High School Diploma or equivalent (GED), required.
· 1 Years of Experience in Preparing Complex Individual Tax Returns
· Possess a Valid and Active Preparer Identification Number (PTIN).
· Computer Savvy, familiar with Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, and professional email communication.
· Phone Etiquette.
· Strong accuracy, attentions to detail and organization skills.
· Pleasant personality with a demonstrated ability of providing excellent customer service.
· Must be able to prioritize and perform multiple tasks.
· Ability to work independently and self organize/prioritize ones work.
· Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate in person and via phone.
· Must be able to work as part of a team and a desire to learn.
· Other financial support functions performed as assigned.
Preferred Qualifications
· Bachelors in Accounting or related field.
· CPA, CPA Candidate or Enrolled Agent Certification.
· Experienced with Federal/State tax resolution services.
· Sales Experience, Preferred.
