Accountant/Office Manager

SLS, a renowned family-owned business, is recognized for its innovative design and construction of high-end outdoor spaces. Our projects have been featured in local magazines, reflecting our dedication to quality and innovation. We are currently seeking an experienced Accountant/Office Manager to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be instrumental in managing our financial operations, including payroll, accounts payable, cash management, and month-end close procedures. This position offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to our continued success and growth.

Responsibilities

• Prepare weekly payroll using ADP and manage Paid Time Off (PTO)
• Oversee weekly Accounts Payable operations in QuickBooks
• Human Resources Management 
• Maintain and manage employee files
• Supervise daily cash management
• Manage a P.O. system with department managers to keep within budgets
• Manage company insurances
• Process customer credit card payments
• Provide general administrative support as required
• Prepare budget and monthly financial statements

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or comparable 
• Minimum of 3 years of related experience
• Proficiency in GAAP principles
• Experience in handling confidential data
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Proficiency in QuickBooks Desktop, Microsoft Suite (Excel, Word, SharePoint)
• Excellent time management skills, with an organized, efficient, and detail-oriented approach to work

Compensation

The annual salary for this position ranges between $70,000-$85,000.
