SmallCorp is a well-established, family-owned, privately held company with approximately 40 employees, started in 1972. We manufacture museum-quality picture frames and exhibit cases, and many, many other items used in conservation and exhibition by museums, galleries, artists, and photographers. Most of our manufacturing is done in-house. We have a diverse range of technical capabilities and work with a wide variety of materials.

Compensation: Starting pay $52,000 – $62,400 per year

Job Function:
This position involves the interpretation of shop drawings and inventory systems to procure materials and supplies needed as well as inventory responsibilities. Candidate will use Sage 100 2022 Purchasing, Vendor, & Inventory modules. Communicate with Sales, CAD designers, shop floor, outside contractors, vendors, and service providers. Review concept drawings for customers, BOM’s for purchasing, and full manufacturing shop drawings for our highly skills fabricators.
Primary Responsibilities:
The Buyer will provide procurement support to the Sales Dept, CAD Dept, manufacturing, and management. Request quotes from vendors, perform inventory forecasting, negotiate and purchase raw materials and supplies, capital purchases and other purchasing as needed. Manage inventory, inventory database, daily and monthly physical inventory adjustments.
Desired Qualifications:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, and Excel required. Crystal Reports and Sage 100 2022 preferred.
- Associates Degree in Accounting, Business, or related field preferred.
- Minimum 2 years of related work experience required.
- Manufacturing experience (preferred)
Experience:
- Minimum two years’ experience with purchasing and inventory responsibilities required. Accounting experience and manufacturing industry experience highly preferred.
