What are the responsibilities and job description for the IT Developer position at Smart IMS?
The Judicial Council seeks an IT Developer position that serves as the primary developer and technical support liaison with 3rd party vendors, assists with the documentation of technical requirements, provides application design documentation, development of interface coding/configuration, develops unit test cases and carries out unit testing. This position also prepares installation documentation for installation at our hosted cloud data center.
Minimum Job-Specific Skills/Qualifications Required (in order of relative importance) :
Experience developing data integration solutions using Talend ESB and ETL.
Knowledge and hands on experience with cloud applications, Azure, Java/J2EE, SQL, HTML, Java Script, XML, XLST, XSD, XPath, SOAP, FTP.
Provide subject matter expertise in preparation of documentation for projects including requirements, architecture and design documents, test plans, deployment, and operational guides.
Participation in technical assessments and reviews to validate the technical approach for systems integration for enterprise initiatives.
Performing unit and integration testing for all developed applications, as well as providing technical and functional testing support.
Ability to troubleshoot complex system issues, provide root cause analysis, resolve issues and testing support of production issues.
Provide production and operations support.
Providing level of effort estimates for enhancement requests.
Identifying items for application improvement.
Working with a hosting provider to support a hosted system.
Additional Skills/Qualifications Desired:
Ability to present technical ideas/ concepts to internal and external teams.
Experience performing work similar to the work specified within with government agencies or public bodies.
