Job Description
Title: Data Analyst/Technical Analyst
Location: Houston, TX
Duration: Long Term
Skills required:
6 plus years expereince.
Experience with Unconventional Resource NOJV workflows, the AFE database, and MUDI are desirable, but can be learned on the job.
Deliverable:
Track incoming data and request missing data
Extract production, log, well completions, and other data and add to database
Update database of AFEs and track AFE status
Extract data as requested to support engineers and geologists
Identify opportunities to improve data management
Description
-The team interacts with over 40 different operators, creates fit for purpose development plans to optimize NOJV assets and influence operators to maximize value.
-Responsible for disseminating technical data to various client teams and sharing lessons learned and best practices to co-owners for implementation in Joint Venture assets.
-DB NOJV processes more than 1000 AFEs and over 60,000 pages of data each year requiring technical assistants that have a strong sense of urgency, technical skills, and cross functional network to complete tasks quickly.
-Effective communications with IT will be required. Ability to dissect incoming PE (Petroleum Engineering) and Earth Science (Earth Science) data, from multiple platforms, and distribute to systems-of-record is critical.
-Ability to visualize and track performance, communicate results, and network across functions are critical.
-Familiarity with general oilfield and horizontal well completion terminology is highly desirable.
