Job Description
The Head of Investor Relations reports to the CFO and will lead the planning, development and execution of a comprehensive investor relations program for the company. This position will be working onsite at our corporate headquarters in Scottsdale, Arizona.
Responsibilities
Develop an Investor Relations strategy to enhance shareholder value by implementing programs to attract targeted investors and to keep the financial community current on company performance, as well as industry and competitive trends.
Lead the earnings preparation process and preparation of supporting materials, including key messaging of financial results, progress toward strategic goals and applicable forward guidance
Design a communication strategy by preparing materials for external (e.g. quarterly earnings presentation, executive presentations, and speeches for analyst conferences) and internal audiences.
Act as initial and primary point of contact for current and future analysts and investors.
Collect, monitor, summarize and disseminate data on shareholder base.
Advise the executive team and board of directors regarding financial trends, shareholders concerns, and competitor actions that might impact the company.
Stay current on all company and related industry activity in order to be responsive to investors and media and to communicate effectively with management.
Manage and maintain the company’s IR website and IR contact database.
Lead the development of materials for presentations to management and board of directors.
Lead planning, messaging and logistics for all company-hosted IR events including office visits and analyst days.
Benchmark and analyze financial and other relevant data points for the Company and its
Required Qualifications
Strong executive presence with the ability to interact with senior leaders.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with experience creating investor presentations, scripts, and press releases.
High energy, proactive, creative, and organized with strong attention to detail and a strong focus on teamwork and building relationships.
Ability to quickly grasp and accurately respond to high-level and complex questions.
Must have a poised, professional, and confident manner even under pressure.
Ability to present to a variety of audiences including employees, executives, and the financial community.
Understanding of public SEC reporting and regulations.
Highest level of integrity and good judgment, with the ability to effectively deal with highly sensitive, confidential information
10 years relevant work experience in investor relations, finance, or investment banking.
MBA or Masters’ degree in Business, Finance or Economics preferred.
