Smartsheet Finance Operations is looking for an analyst to assist with Payments reporting and the development and implementation of operational efficiencies and optimization of our payment program. You are someone who is analytical and action-oriented, has an ability to understand financial and payment systems, enjoys digging into data, using technology to improve processes, and shares our passion for data and storytelling.

You Will:
- Support Global Payment Program Expansion, Optimization, and Improvement efforts.
- Facilitate and perform reviews of payment functionality and provide recommendations for potential solutions.
- Act as the department SME for Credit Card Payments processes, and enablement.
- Consolidate and report monthly trends for various payment streams including - Wire, Check, ACH, Credit Card, and Fees
- Develop financial and operational reporting on recurring credit-card declines, fail rates, and merchant account blocks.
- Produce ad-hoc reports to assist with management analysis.
- Extract and analyze data from financial systems.
- Develop forecasting models for finance operation activities and metrics.
- Leverage understanding of team goals, key metrics, and financial systems to develop processes within Finance Operations through the use of Smartsheet tools.
- Provide business intelligence for internal business partners/customers.
- Gather and summarize data from a variety of data sources; perform data collection and cleansing.
- Validate report results and ensure data integrity.
- Create visual representations of data; be a storyteller.
You Have:
- 3 years of experience in the field
- Passion for "Breaking through walls" and pushing the envelope of what is possible.
- Experience with Banks/Merchants and internal and external stakeholders.
- Experience launching and growing payment products.
- Understanding of business, technical and customer inputs to define new and/or changes to existing customer experiences.
- Advanced Excel skills, including complex spreadsheets, pivot tables, charting, formulas, and data manipulation.
- Experience using visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or other Business Intelligence tools.
- Excellent verbal, written, and data presentation skills.
- Effectively manage multiple priorities.
- Flexibility to work independently and in a team environment.
- IDEAL: A blend of technical skills (the ability to solve the problem) and the competencies to know what to do with the answer.
- Degree in Finance, Business Administration, Accounting or Treasury.
