Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Math Tutor to join our team and provide academic support to students. The ideal candidate will have a passion for education and possess a diverse skill set to assist students in their learning journey. The tutoring position begins promptly on September 17, 2024 and ends on December 12, 2024. The schedule will be 8:00 am through 1:00 pm Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays.
Responsibilities
- Develop customized lesson plans tailored to individual student needs
- Conduct one-on-one or group tutoring sessions
- Assist students in understanding complex concepts in Math subjects
- Support students with homework assignments and exam preparation
- Create engaging learning environments both individually and in groups
- Incorporate interactive teaching methods to promote student engagement
Experience
- Previous experience in tutoring or teaching is preferred
- Proficiency in a wide range of subjects including those related to childcare and classroom settings
- Strong knowledge of lesson planning techniques
- Familiarity with diverse academic backgrounds and learning styles
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $32.37 per hour
