JOB SUMMARY

As Human Resources Manager, we are looking to bring on board a driven individual who thrives in a fast pace and dynamic work environment. Your primary responsibility will be the oversight of day to day Human Resources Management, supporting field locations throughout the United States and Canada. Supports short-term and long-term business growth objectives while drives the initiatives which fosters a positive company culture and quality standards. There will be a focus on leave absence management and payroll. This position will report directly to the VP of People and Culture.


ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Manage HR Operations

  • In collaboration with the VP, finds opportunities for improvement that optimize employee engagement, accountability, adaptability and conformance to legal requirements
  • In collaboration with director, implements strategic human resource processes and evaluates programs, policies and procedures
  • Provide HR support to leaders and employees within the operation and corporate office. Consult and coach leaders. Engage employees.
  • Manage HR Compliance, staying current with labor laws, state and county regulations

Employee Relations

  • Provides a professional and strategic consultancy and advisory service to operations staff and employees
  • Partners with operations to provide innovative human resource solutions that are tailored to meet the individual needs of each location
  • Manages the employee engagement features of the company’s HCM (ADP Workforce Now) for all required processes and transactions that provide data and reporting on human resource information

Talent Acquisition

  • Assist in streamlining talent acquisition processes. Ensure a strong pipeline of talent for the organization. Provide key metrics and insights.

Benefits | Payroll | Workers Compensation

  • Coordinate benefits programs to ensure effective communication throughout organization to include annual benefit open enrollment periods and wellness program initiatives
  • Supports the administration of leaves of absence policies and practices to ensure compliance with federal and state regulations
  • Responsible for auditing payroll processes and ensure state wage an hour compliance
  • Coordinate workers’ compensation claims and partner with workers’ compensation third party administrator and broker to ensure timely return to work and/or closure of claims.


QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

  • A Bachelor’s Degree in related disciplines such as business, human resources, or psychology
  • 3 years’ experience in a related field
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills in order to review a myriad of data to identify potential risks
  • Strong problem-solving skills and sound judgment to create strategies and solutions that will minimize risks for the company
  • Implement policies through effective and clear communication to leaders, managers and the field at all levels
  • Experience managing multiple locations, preferred
  • Knowledge and experience working with employment legislation, DOL, DLSE, CAL-OSHA, HIPAA and industry practices
  • Demonstrates strong organizational and planning skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Strong knowledge base of HCM systems including ADP Workforce Now
  • Strong computer skills (MS Suite office of programs including Word, Excel)
