Sifter Associate
SmartTalent Kirkland is seeking to hire an experienced Sifter Associate for a production company based in Woodinville, WA. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 1 year of related production experience. Food production experience a plus.
LOCATION: Woodinville, WA
PAY: $18 - $21
SCHEDULE: Monday – Friday – 7am - 330pm

Job Duties/Responsibilities:
· Work with hanging, sorting, folding and moving 2200# salt totes in and out for sifting
· Machine fill and label packaged salt totes to the required specifications (over/proper spec/unders)
· Move the completed pallet to WIP staging area and over/unders to their WIP staging area
· Ensure all orders are Complete, Accurate and On Time for the production optical sorter dept
· Make adjustments on the fly on computer screens (Adjust timing, flow, screens, start and stop)
· Ensure that your work area is clean and organized at all times. (Audit Ready)
· Assemble, clean and break down equipment at beginning or end of shift
· Adhere to Good Manufacturing Processes, Food Safety Standards and related operational procedures
· Other projects and duties as assigned
Qualifications:
· Demonstrate the willingness and ability to help other teams as needed.
· Must exhibit excellent judgement and pay attention to detail when packaging/bagging all products
· Must be a self-starter and finisher as you may have to work alone at times
· Must be able to complete tasks on time to maintain the needs of the production schedule
· Maintain a positive attitude and adjust to change quickly
· Strong interpersonal skills focused on teamwork
· Forklift and Electric pallet jack preferred but not required. (We will train in house)
· Detail oriented, with a commitment to quality.
· Manage time efficiently and effectively
· 2-3 years production or manufacturing experience preferred. (Food is a plus but not required)
· Basic computer skills (word & excel)
