We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Cannabis Packager. The successful candidate will be responsible for packaging cannabis products in accordance with regulatory requirements and company standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Weigh and package cannabis products according to company standards and regulatory requirements
- Operate packaging equipment in a safe and efficient manner
- Ensure accurate and timely documentation of all packaged products
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures
- Participate in regular training sessions to stay up-to-date on industry developments and changes in regulations
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least 1 year of experience in a packaging role, preferably in the cannabis industry
- Familiarity with cannabis products and packaging requirements
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet production targets
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to perform repetitive tasks accurately
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time
- Good communication skills and ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Must be at least 21 years old and able to pass a criminal background check
Physical Demands:
- The job may require standing for long periods of time and may involve repetitive tasks.
- The employee must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
