Dental Patient Coordinator / Dental Assistant

SmileWell Dental is growing! We are a modern, locally woman owned, wellness and cosmetic dentistry practice. We are currently seeking a Dental Assistant & Patient Concierge to join our Wellness Focused team.

We prioritize the use of digital radiography, intraoral scanning, photography, and education in order to provide the highest quality patient care. We focus on co-diagnosis with the patient and emphasize prevention, health, and education.

As a Patient Concierge, you will guide patients and guests to have a five star experience with our office. Duties include general dental reception and dental assisting duties as well as following-up with patients and utilizing spreadsheets.

This is a position that will spend time working clinically, as a dental assistant, and assisting the front office team. Dental Assisting duties will include at minimum: sterilization, cleaning and setting up rooms, taking radiographs, taking photographs, documenting notes electronically, using an intraoral iTero scanner, and taking blood pressure. Front office duties will include at minimum: utilizing Adit to answer phones, send and respond to text messages, and utilize in office messaging; utilizing Dentrix to schedule appointments, scan documents, enter and track patient information and communication; and communicate via phone and email with specialist referrals.

The right candidate will have superior organizational skills, attention to detail, expert communication skills, be able to stay calm under stressful situations, and be able to laugh and have fun.

We utilize modern technology in our office. To excel in this position, you must have excellent keyboarding and computer skills, have good math skills, be self motivated, and must be dedicated to detail and follow-up.

Pay will be based upon skill level, productivity, and how much training will be needed to help you succeed. Minimum 2 yrs previous dental office experience preferred.
