Job Description:
Smith Fence is looking for a highly motivated Access Control Manager to work out of our Clearwater, FL office overseeing our entire division. This individual will be in charge of managing our office personal and a team of installers who are responsible for installing, servicing, and repairing automatic gates and major components. The applicant will need to be able to read, interpret, and work from plans, drawings, and specifications. Access control experience is required.
Job Duties and Responsibilities - will include but are not limited to the following:
- Schedules and oversees the installation of all products.
- Providing quotes for material and labor based off specifications for our Commercial Fence Division.
- Supervise hiring, recruiting, and training needs for the entire division.
- Manage, troubleshoot, and resolve all project and operational issues with the team.
- Deal directly with our Purchasing Agent for procuring material.
- Have public relationships with customers and vendors.
- Must be flexible
Education & Required Skills:
- 4-year Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
- Access control experience and product knowledge
- Low-voltage experience
- Construction experience
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
- Ability to read construction blueprint drawings and specifications.
- Outstanding and professional oral, written communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical skills and is detail oriented
- Self-motivated
- Hardworking and possesses leadership abilities
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
- Ability and desire to perform physical labor outdoors
