We are a leading manufacturing and engineering company dedicated to producing high-quality state of the art aquatic products globally for the fisheries industry for more than 60 years. We are looking for a diligent and organized full-time Stock Clerk with a “can do attitude” to join our team to provide basic inventory-control assistance, accurately and efficiently.
Responsibilities:
- Receive, unpack, and verify incoming shipments
- Stock shelves and organize inventory
- Maintain accurate records of inventory levels and report discrepancies
- Assist with cycle counts and full physical inventory audits
- Responsible for picking parts and components in accordance to requisitions
- Accurately log in the physical movement of materials in the software management system
- Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the stockroom
Position Requirements:
- Collaborate with other departments to fulfill inventory needs.
- Proven experience as a Stock Clerk or in a similar role.
- Familiarity with inventory management systems and basic computer skills.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication, written and verbal skills
- Ability to problem solve
- Quick learner and able to work under pressure to meet deadlines
- Excellent work attendance
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook and Excel
Physical Requirements:
· Ability to lift up to 50lbs.
· Standing, bending, reaching, stooping
· Regular use of step ladders
· Occasional use of pallet jacks
Work Schedule/Pay Rate:
· 4 day work week, Monday – Thursday
· 10 hour days
· $23-$24 per hour depending on experience
· After successfully completion of 60 day probationary period, $25 per hour
