Responsibilities and essential job functions include, but are not limited to the following:
Work with Operations Manager to balance daily and weekly outbound loads to inbound trucks.
Ensure on-time pickup for outbound loads.
Manage area trailer pool counts at customer and drop yard locations.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
We are looking for someone who has had previous experience dealing with the transportation departments with JBS, Hormel Foods, Tyson Foods, and Wells Blue Bunny.
Knowledge of transportation industry standards and Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations
Ability to problem solve and work in and remain calm in high-pressure situations
Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of internal and business partners
Ability to multitask in a fast paced environment with rapidly changing priorities
Proficient computer skills required including Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
Experience with McLeod Software is preferred but not required.
Ability to read, write and speak English fluently
Maintain a positive work ethic and attitude.
Maintain professional communication at all times.
Summary of Experience and Education
Minimum 3 years of trucking operations, dispatch, or fleet manager experience.
Compensation:
Starting pay of $70 to $85,0000 with paid vacation and personal time of up to three weeks, Health Insurance, 401K, and a great family oriented company. This package is for the person that most closely fits to who we are looking for.
