Job Description
Responsible for creating and implementing training programs and overseeing the development of careers. Sets performance metrics, evaluates productivity, and helps workers create long-term career plans within the organization. Responsible for planning and executing internal and external customer training. The Technical Training Manager will guide and instruct training staff, sales staff, and subject matter experts to comply with facilitation of the brand message authorized by the marketing team.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Market, track sales, and report results of training within the Americas.
- Deliver and/or facilitate in person and virtual training sessions related to sales skills and products.
- Conduct surveys and needs analysis to develop new training programs or modify and improve existing program.
- Develop and post public external/internal customer training schedule.
- Work with other members of the sales enablement team and assist in providing public external/internal courses.
- Manage logistics and tools at training locations and similarly for private external customer training.
- Direct execution of public external/internal customer courses.
- Manage training budget for division.
- Contribute to betterment of training materials to enhance the training experience and provide value to both employer and employee.
- Participate and collect input/data to improve training materials and tools.

The Individual
- Bachelors’ degree with Education / Communication or Mechanical / Chemical Engineering or related field preferred.
- 7 years of experience with technical and soft skills training, mechanical seal knowledge highly preferred.
- Knowledge of organizational development, sales effectiveness and related principles and techniques.
- Experience designing and delivering a variety of training solutions preferred.
- Experience partnering with third party vendors and budget management.
- Field experience in installation of mechanical seals, couplings or rotating equipment preferred.
- Bilingual Spanish preferred.
- A strong communicator, both in writing and spoken communications.
- Articulate and confident standing up and delivering to large audiences.
- Organized, a self-starter and an inspirational leader of your team.
- Required 25 to 35 percent travel (mainly domestic, Houston and Chicago).
Salary & Benefits
The pay range for this role is $70,000-110,000 per year based on level of experience.
