SMX is seeking an IT Quality Assurance Analyst to support a program that requires technical, analytical and program expertise.
The IT Quality Assurance Analyst will support data quality analysis and remediation in order to identify, analyze and resolve patient identity, multiple and or duplicate patient records, unmerges and other data quality issues. The analyst will provide this support to the Defense Health Agency (DHA) and its Medical Treatment Facilities (MTFs). An understanding of these processes, the DHA and current/future health information systems (i.e. CHCS, DEERS, AHLTA, CoPath, Cerner, PRT, etc.) is critical.
The IT Quality Assurance Analyst will perform the following duties:
- Evaluate and review work products, such as software applications, computer-based training, documentation, and configuration management including documentation of workflow procedures and data modeling documentation.
- Apply functional knowledge and experience to design and/or customize workflow approaches
- Conduct formal and informal reviews to determine quality
- Lead a team of quality assurance analysts and be responsible for process and procedure training, as well as reporting on team and individual goals and productivity
- Understand the processes, procedures and data associated with enterprise health IT applications
Required Skills and Experience:
- Clearance Required: Secret
- Bachelor's Degree
- Six (6) years of experience, of which, three (3) years must be specialized in a field in which quality assurance functions were performed. General experience includes working with quality control methods and tools.
- Prior professional experience with data quality management programs for large federal or commercial healthcare systems.
- Prior experience analyzing, verifying, and updating patient identity and demographic data.
